Had locs now for one month. I love them! There easy, time saving, money saving.. Carefree!

So I've been lazy and using a scarf every now and then. Here's my locs this am in bed! Ha-sick. Blah!

Pic 19- day 9 locs

Today is day 9 of my locs journey!! I washed my hair today with Vo5 while wearing a stocking cap. Then, I tightened my locs using palm roll method and (single strand twists) mango jamaican product. Next, sat under my dryer for 45 minutes and these pics would be how they turned out. Definitely holding a lot better then olive oil moisturizer I used to start my locs. Today was a good hair day!!

I'm loving my locs and it's only day 3. I've gotten many compliments and of course one "ughhh why did you do that", whatevs! I did it for me!

They are staying in extremely well. I have to say, I'm honestly very proud of myself for loc'n them myself. I love pics of hair.. So I plan on posting many!

Day 1 of Locs!-pic 16

Today is day one of my Locs journey!! I don't know what got into me, but I woke up knowing today is the day I start my locs and gave it no other thought. I did them myself using single twist method(twisting hair around my finger with olive oil moisturizer). I left clips in a couple hours and allowed them to air dry and this is my result!

Back in braids

Well once again I'm back in braids... It's just easier for me while working, going to school, and doing my internship. Makes my mornings easier to just pull my hair back and go. But how I do miss my Fro!

Straightened hair

These pics are from about a month ago. I straightened my hair and trimmed the ends. I cut about half inch off I believe. In some areas I'm sure it was an inch! Ouch! But it was so needed! It feels healthier! And yes, I did it myself.

no more color for me!

last year i colored my hair, i believe in june.  since then ive definitely noticed a difference in my hair as far as how dry it is and its length.  yesterday i did a flat twist out on my hair and noticed that in the back the color is only left on the tips!  this means ive had a ton of breakage! 

my hair has been natural for 2 years now and should definitely be longer then it is.  I would say this is due to coloring my hair last year!  did i learn my lesson, YES!  i will never ever ever ever color my hair again!  im done!  my naural hair will have natural color!

if your thinking about coloring your hair, think twice!  i take great care of my hair, so this is definitely do to the color.  i noticed a few weeks after i put the color in how dry my hair felt to touch.  no more color for me!
